Then there’s the Red Room Bar, an appendage of the landmarked Red Room on the building’s Wall Street side. The magnificent space was once open only to BNY executives until the bank moved out in 2015. It now serves as the store’s shoe department with Italian-made Manolo Blahniks going for $1,375.

I was at the bar on the first floor near the shoe department. Julienne was our bartender and he made the best cosmo I have ever had: cool, crisp, subtly sweet and perfect. He has an amazing charisma and truly made the evening special for us! In a city like NYC with amazing bartenders everywhere, Julienne rises to the top!

The room is so pretty and the food is delicious. Hamburger was yummy. The French fries are hand cut with perfect amount of salt and something special on them and in the ketchup. The tomato soup is really creamy with lemongrass I ever had that before!! And like everything in the store / it's all one step up from regular. Just better.
