Then there’s the Red Room Bar, an appendage of the landmarked Red Room on the building’s Wall Street side. The magnificent space was once open only to BNY executives until the bank moved out in 2015. It now serves as the store’s shoe department with Italian-made Manolo Blahniks going for $1,375.

The ambiance and decor was warm and welcoming. The food was very flavorful and portions were appropriate especially the pomme frites. I was satisfied and smiling! The staff were pleasant.

This is a magic place. Definitely a must to stop by after shopping. We definitely recommend stopping for lunch upstairs at the Green room. FABULOUS.

Unique, historic, and exquisite Red Room sits adjacent to the Red Room Bar itself, which offers delicious food and professional and attentive customer service in an intimate and well-designed space filled with items from Printemps.

Lovely cocktail bar that is tucked away on the lower level of Pretemps. Finding the bar is a little tricky you either need to go upstairs from the main entrance and walk across to the other end of the store to go down a dedicated staircase. The alternative is entering on the side through the shoe department. The cocktails are unusual. The food menu is small but there are nice options. It feels like walking into a throwback from the 1920s or 1930s.
